Misled being the ill timed word in this sentence.
The more apt expression would be “LIED” to senators.
It would not make the Civil War “...look like a cartoon...” only WWIII could do that. More soldiers were killed in that war than in all our others.
It certainly would be interesting, though.
I think you are correct on this one. This whole thing with the Russians is a smoke screen. The Dems are so consumed by it they are not seeing the entire picture. The beauty about all of this is Trump continues to feed them more and more. Every tweet causes instant reaction. The media and the left continue to fall for it. He wants them focused on Russia because he knows it’s a big nothing burger. All the while the real investigation continues behind the scenes. I believe it’s Hillary and Lynch that are the targets and Comey will be a key part of it. The ironic part of all of this is that the Dems and media are the ones screaming for the investigation to continue when in the end they will be destroyed by it.
Sessions ain’t doin’ anything. He’s had five months to arrest mayors and governors harboring illegal aliens (sanctuary cities). Instead, he does nothing, thus condoning their actions.
And you know this to be true? In your experience as a federal prosecutor, how long has it taken for you to launch, direct and conclude a high-level investigation, squeeze low-level defendants to rat out their seniors, convene a grand jury, and file criminal charges? Have you ever done this without a full complement of deputies and staffers? And did you ever manage these tasks while preparing for and testifying under oath in a Congressional witch hunt?
