The lie to the idea that only illegals are doing jobs “Americans refuse to do”, is to travel where there are no illegals and those jobs are being done by ordinary American citizens.
Here’s a typical conversation
Them: Who will pick the produce?
Us; Regular American citizens including able bodied on assistance
Them: Thats racist
Us: Didn’t you tell me most welfare recipients are white (trash)?
Them: It won’t be enough $ for them
Us: Why
Them: It’s not a living wage
Us: The Illegals only get x now. I’m subsidizing them through
tax dollars for their school, snap, medical that’s how they have a “living wage” when they’re not getting $15/hr. Why do We have to pay it
Them: Were exploiting them we owe it to them
Us: What we? We as a whole are not employing them
Them: you’re eating underpriced produce
Us: that’s ok we can use more machines to keep the cost down
Them: they’re here already they need something to do
Us: even if they snuck in? Cant they just go back
Them: it’ll cost too much to send them
Us: more than they cost every day?
....etc
