I grew up in New York and have lived in NJ on and off over the years. I have never heard anyone in this state say “Joisey.” People hear in North Jersey talk like Anthony Bourdain, not Leo Gorcey. ;)

All the nice towns in NJ vote Democrat, just as all of the bad towns vote Dem. Sad to say that most GOP towns (and they are getting rarer and rarer) are meh (as are the RINOs who run such places).
