I listened to Woodward, at least once, and Bernstein once.
My impression is that Woodward is a smoothie. He keeps his cards close to his vest. Someone described one of his books as a literary Rorschack (inkblot) test. Liberals read it one way; conservatives another.
Bernstein is a liberal Jewish New Yorker. It’s all out there. It takes less than a minute to size the guy up.
So yes, Carl Bernstein has his opinions that he is keen on sharing. With a suit and tie, he fakes being an adult. Same as with that comic, Al Franken.
