When do we start a death pool on Ruth Buzzy? She’s way past her “sell by” date.
When Trump names her replacement the Leftists will be jumping out of tenth story windows all over New York City.

while liberals appear to fear that the worst is yet to come.

Does that mean there will be more Liberal tears?

It’s really too early to tell about Gorsuch. At the moment though, I’m cautiously optimistic given the things he has weighed in on so far. I look with interest at what a full term with him on it will produce.

I am still withholding judgment on Gorsuch, probably for several more years.

When Scalia and Clarence Thomas were nominated, I knew exactly how they would vote.

When Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan were nominated, I knew exactly how they would vote.

When John Roberts and Gorsuch were nominated, I did not, and still do not, have a clear vision about how they will vote over the long term.

Just a few days ago, on a case the Supreme Court declined to hear, Gorsuch implied that same sex marriage is now settled law.

I am a Constitutional literalist, and I find that idea very disturbing.

It will certainly be a pity if the inept GOP manages to lose control of the Senate and a man like Gorsuch cannot be confirmed.
