G-20 shut Trump out on climate, strike deal on trade (The Munchkins make their own deal)

HAMBURG, Germany — World powers lined up against U.S. President Donald Trump on climate change Saturday, reaffirming their support for international efforts to fight global warming.

The final statement of the Group of 20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, underlined that the other countries and the European Union supported the Paris climate agreement rejected by Trump. They called the deal to reduce greenhouse gases “irreversible” and vowed to implement it quickly and without exception.

The other countries, from European powers such as Germany to emerging ones such as China and energy producers such as Saudi Arabia, dismissively “took note” of the U.S. position, which was boxed off in a separate paragraph that the summit host, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, made clear applied only to the United States.

As they send us SUVs and oil by the freighter load, they say we aren’t doing enough to fight climate change.

Can’t they “help” us fight climate change by not sending us their exports?

Oh no! A separate paragraph in a box? Trump is finished.

The Paris Agreement is now officially just a piece of paper because the source of the redistribution has pulled out.

What good are trade deals if you put your country at an economic disadvantage with the Paris Agreement?

Excellent point. Why are we importing oil from Saudi Arabia? We don need their steenkeen oil when our frackers have given us a thousand years’ worth of oil and natural gas that makes us independent.
And after her ugly insult to Pres. Trump regarding fake climate change, NO AMERICAN should buy a German car for the duration of dumpy Angela Merkel’s reign.

yet another fake headline; the actual headline is

“Trump leaves leaders fearing the future as G-20 summit closes”

AND you’ve posted the same exact article with this fake headline now twice in a row.

Posting articles without the ORIGINAL headline is a violation of FR the term of use.

Hell, the price and shady quality should be a good enough reason to stay away.

Funny how they affirm their agreement but no country has or likely will put up any money. Like all agreements they sit back and demand the US foot the bill for everything.

OK. Now let’s see how they go about contributing to the slush fund. So far, they’ve contributed zilch. (Talk is cheap.)

The bottom line is that they will redistribute their wealth without the USofA?

They are welcome to it.

"The “climate pact” is going nowhere without American money." Got that right. Germany is the only country of the bunch that has the money to prop up the others. Germans are already fed up with funding the PIGS, especially Greece. Let's see how this wealth distribution scheme goes over with the German people. Can't wait, stick a fork in Merkel, she's done, lol 😂...

Good, the euroweenies can make their own little suicide pact amongst themselve, and the US can stay out of it.

[”The “climate pact” is going nowhere without American money.” ]

Will the G-19 try to pass along the cost to the U.S. via a climate import tax?

The German economy is more than half again as large as either of the next largest in the EU, the UK and France.
