No.did people here not read the decision??????????.

Scotus did not define bone fide. Gave examples but no definition. Of course grandparents are bone fide relations.

However...we do have some reference in immigration law but the ban had expanded on that particular range

i read what Thomas said.
Trump and Sessions simply can stall until Oct and let the legal challenges get
thrown back to the 9th who will defer to the SC again .
They don't have to comply immediately to a this judges whims. .

The Supreme Court grant cert (said it would pick up the matter) and stayed the injunctions in part. Justice Thomas, in his concurring decision, did warn:

The compromise [balancing test in the staying of injunctions in part] also will invite a flood of litigation until this case is finally resolved on the merits, as parties and courts struggle to determine what exactly constitutes a “bona fide relationship” …
