Fact check: Mostly true. Republicans promised to repeal ObamaCare since the moment it was passed seven years ago, and kept insisting that voters needed to give them full control of Washington DC. Now that they have it, Republicans have to deliver, and Donald Trump took to his favorite platform while in France to remind them of it

RNC chair Ronna Romney McDaniel was more specific in urging passage of the BCRA. Speaking to WMAL’s “Morning on the Mall,” McDaniel echoed Trump in reminding Senate Republicans that voters would get “very upset” if they didn’t pass the bill:

As did we all — underestimated the corruption. I don’t know about everyone else but even thought I knew DC was a cesspool I had no idea how deep and ugly it was. It’s mind boggling, really.

Don’t pass “something”. Pass repeal.

Exactly. Obamacare was and is socialized medicine.

The goal of the CPUSA is socialized medicine and gun control with confiscation.

Once they pass both, the cattle cars will begin for conservatives.

Repeal Obamacare and return health care to the free market.

I am sure it will surprise no one when they pass a watered-down version of Obamacare, while keeping it largely intact, so everyone can declare “victory” and hope those who want TRUE repeal & replace forget about it or simply shut up.

That is what Trump is telling them to do -- to "pass something". Trump was for ObamaCare Lite #1 the House came up with. There are simply too many entrenched RINOs to get anything other than ObamaCare Lite IMO and Trump will likely go along with it as he has no idealogy. He just does deals.
