President Trump to hold campaign-style rally in Youngstown (July 25th in Ohio)
WPXI-TV ^ | July 18, 2017

Posted on 07/18/2017 8:25:55 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

President Donald Trump will hold a campaign-style rally in Youngstown, Ohio, next week.

The state was crucial to his November victory.

The rally will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at the Covelli Centre.

Doors will open at 4 p.m.

The event was announced the same day the White House confirmed the president met with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, for a second time during the G20 early this month.

The dinnertime discussion hadn’t been disclosed until Tuesday.

No other American officials were there.

The president called this "fake news" and "sick" on Twitter, and made the false claim that the press knew about it.

It’s gotta burn liberals that he’s getting a head start on 2020 while they are still trying to find their core message.

Seen an article somewhere today where Kasich was fundraising with an eye on challenging President Trump in 2020. Methinks this is a little “in your ear”!

He's doing this because of that puke Kasich. Kasich just wrote an op-ed in the NY Slimes cheering the demise of repeal.

What nobody is focusing on in the Obamacare debate is the role of turncoat GOP Governors. They're so addicted to the Feds giving them money for Medicaid that they are fighting against full repeal of Obamacare.

We're going to have single-payer folks, because the Republicans don't have the guts to honestly talk about free market solutions. And that's when the violence and Americans pitted against Americans are going to start when the rationing kicks in.

Telling you folks, now's a good time to stock up on food, medicine, emergency supplies, guns, etc and buy some land out in the woods.

I believe, in part, Trump and his retinue keep using Twitter and rallies to remind we Deplorables that, indeed, there's more of us than them, and to not despair.

By most accounts, at the time of the Revolution, 20% were Loyalists, 33-45% were Patriots, and the rest were ballast. If you replace Loyalist with statist, and Patriots with Deplorables, we are right where we started.

It's also worth noting that safety in numbers is also at play. Moldylocks wrote of fear before heading out to Berkeley (where she got clocked) but she was comforted by the (alleged) numbers of equally-deranged secularists (who also got clocked).

Our steadfast and visible defense of all that is good and right is a partial antidote to this social virus. Everyone wants to win, and one can only hope that further winning will help turn these misguided souls to our side.

President Trump should continue to visit the purple states.

You are so right. He is a likeable man and can win over many people, by speaking from his heart. He loves America...

As I've said before, he had NO reason to run for president except for the fact that he loves his country. He didn't need the money...

While Trump is to be commended for getting started on his reelection campaign early, there are two big issues which Trump needs to pay attention to, to keep (all of) those who supported him in the last election

Those two things are, bring back American manufacturing, and build the wall.

I know it’s still early, but not really. Trump has now gotten 10% through his first term.

I doubt he will ever be stronger than right now.

Trump, build the wall, and bring back American manufacturing.

COMPETE with China.

You keep posting about bringing back American manufacturing, which is far too broad a term and one which I get the feeling you really don't understand.

Are you not aware of the fact that American manufacturing started exploding ( as in no more of it ) in the late 1950s? The shoe making and fabric manufacturers, in New Hampshire, went belly up, their old plants have lain idle and decaying and there's NOBODY around to rebuild them ( as in in new machinery, etc. ), nor are there any skilled people around anymore, to do those jobs....AT A COST EFFICIENT price; let alone go up against all of the regulations, laws, taxes that government now imposes on businesses.

The same, though at a later date, goes for the Carolina furniture manufacturing segment.

We still make some cars here; even foreign company ones.

Sweat shops?

Yeah, there still ARE some illegal sweat shops making clothing, but they're usually for "street trade" and employ ILLEGAL ALIENS from China and perhaps a few other Asian nations.

Whilst there are a few American made items of wearing apparel around, most are high ticket items, don't use American made cloth, and I doubt that you know what "bespoke" means.

So just WHAT "manufacturing" jobs are you talking about wanting the president to "bring back"?

He has brought in many new jobs; however, you appear to be inclined to either discount all of those, out of hand, or be unaware of them.

While you are to be commended for diligently looking up, and posting about all of those, they are not at all what I was talking about.

American companies have been selling out to globalists for more than the entire last generation.

The thing is, it only takes jobs away from America.

China continues to become (rapidly) stronger, richer, and more independent.

Trump seemed like he understood. But now he seems to have completely sold out to China, because of North Korea.

We do not need individual companies to make individual changes like this.

We need him to take leadership on this issue. For real.

Globalists have been selling out America for a very long time.

Trump seemed different. Maybe he is.

I don’t know yet.

"We do not need individual companies to make individual changes like this."

Do you understand the economy at all? President Trump isn't the one who will hire the millions of Americans who need work, companies will. Companies like the ones I showed you. Do you want him to put people to work in tax-payer funded do-nothing jobs like Roosevelt did?

Have you shopped for anything recently?

Anything?

“Made in China”. Hardware. Computers. Almost everything now.

Everything. Everywhere. All of it. We have given away America’s industrial greatness, and nobody is doing one thing to reverse things.

I know, we still grow food, and drill for oil. But manufacturing jobs in America are almost gone. Those that still do exist here, are all now mostly held by immigrants.

I know there are still some industries we excel in, but the number is shrinking.

We have been completely sold out.

I thought Trump was different. I still hope he is.

But he needs to get started on this.
