nice try...a common law tort abolished by all but six US jurisdictions; hmmm, why do you think is has been abolished as a tortious action by 44 of 50 state jurisdictions...? Please get back to me...

I will agree that I posted hastily, and offer an appropriate apology...

“nice try”

Well, it wasn’t a joke.

“why do you think is has been abolished as a tortious action by 44 of 50 state jurisdictions...?”

I think it was abolished as a part of the institution of “no fault” divorce necessitated by the real or potential “bursting at the seams” of state judicial systems due to the rise in the number of divorces.

“Please get back to me...”

Done.

“I will agree that I posted hastily, and offer an appropriate apology...”

Appropriately accepted.
