Have Obama’s Fast & Furious guns gone on vacation?

This is horrible news. I enjoy watching Drugs Inc. on Nat Geo and they had an episode on Cancun. There was an agreement among the drug cartels to keep the violence out of the tourist areas so as not the threaten the tourism trade. Looks like that agreement has ended.

It might force the Mexicans to become more serious about fighting the narcos if one of their lucrative resorts suddenly becomes a ghost town.

That has already happened to Acapulco.

Just a month ago, three severed heads were found in coolers near the tourist zone in Cabo San Lucas. My son was robbed at gunpoint there a couple years ago. Mexican tourism is going to plummet.

This come as no surprise for any long time Freeper. Seen reports over the years here about drug wars and crime encroaching on resorts in Mexico. The MSM quickly shoves them into a convenient memory hole.

Thanks

Interesting article. I go to Mexico 4 or 5 times a year, including Cancun.

This doesn’t change my travel plans but I will keep my eyes open.

It’s nothing a border-long trench filled with radioactive waste can’t fix. Leave a few corridors open for legitimate purposes, of course. Control those TIGHTLY...mild sarc tag off

I just finished watching EL CHAPO on Netflix. It’s obvious to me why the politicians and fat cats don’t want the wall. It’s not the “workers” not being able to cross the border that they’re worried about. They’re worried about stopping the drug flow.

The market is the U.S. But it’s not working stiffs snortin’ the stuff in large enough quantities to make it worthwhile. And it’s not working stiffs in charge of selling it.

Trump is up against a very corrupt world that does not want change.

EVERYONE laughed at Oliver Stone’s claim of a shadow government. Not anymore.

EVERYONE laughed at blacks who claimed the CIA was instrumental in getting the black community hooked on drugs. I believe it now. I’m not saying they did it to “keep the black man down”. They did it to create a market.

When we lived in Minnesota, a wintertime visit to Ixtapa for a week was almost mandatory.

Sun County airline had direct flights to Zihuatanejo and a short bus ride brought us to the hotel and sparkling beach.

Today, I’m not so sure...

The Mexican government is in cahoots with the cartels AND the US government.

“People who have never visited Mexico are going to be much more reluctant to come here.”

I have visited Mexico. Wasn’t that impressed with it then... certainly have no inclination to ever go there again.

I will visit the wall. That is a trip I am looking forward to taking.

And that’s why the wall needs to get built right now.

.......I was just in Playa Del Carmen 2 weeks ago for 5 days.

The Hotel we stayed at was clean and beautiful and literally 50 feet from the water, the food was just excellent, the service was just excellent and the workers at the Hotel were trying their hearts out at all times.

Playa Del Carmen streets are clean by Mexican standards and we felt safe while we were there. This article kind of changes things though. I don’t know when we will go back.
