Congress needs to get off it’s tail and enact Trump’s tariffs.

Whether this would help Harley or not, it would at least help ensure that Americans are employed building motorcycles that Americans ride.

Congress should pass tax reform, not tariffs at this point.

Are young guys buying Harleys? I know two men with motorcycles and they are older. The young guys I see riding are not on Harleys.

Taxes have nothing to do with HD's issues. HD quality has deteriorated steadily over the last ten years or so while prices have increased. Plus, the aging baby boomers just aren't buying new bikes. Check Craigslist. Bunch of HDs for sale at bargain prices.

Kind of looks like the ARs for sale on Armslist.

Finally, people who are inclined to buy new are waiting for the M8 motor on the 2018 HDs. It's supposed to be a game changer.

I don't own a Harley. I ride a Triumph Tiger, but I belong to a Harley forum. Lifelong Harley riders bemoan declining quality control on bikes that cost over $20,000.

HD is apparently controlled by accountants, not riders.
