I like Medicaid. I am okay with the program in general. But it is in need of serious reform. By the left-wing Center for American Progress’ own table, roughly 21% of all Americans are on Medicaid!
That is both staggering and wholly unsustainable. Couple Medicaid with the vast number of people receiving disability payments, and no country can afford such wealth transfers. Moreover, we haven’t even factored in other transfer payments, such as Food Stamps, Medicare, Obamaphones, etc. Is there any wonder that the printing presses at the Treasury are smoking and straining under the heavy load?
