Just don’t try to turn Texas into California.

“Just don’t try to turn Texas into California.”

If you are in Texas, you need to take a look around, because Texas is on the fast track to becoming just like California. And it isn’t because of people moving there from California. There is not a nickel’s worth of difference between your major cities and places like LA and SF, and when you look at the Rio Grande Counties ( now two deep from the river), they are run by Mexican RATs. So Texas is well on it’s way to being just like California, you just don’t want to admit it.

Amen! We already have bastions of lefty lunacy demanding more taxes, more government, more PC, more, more, more ... places full of people who don’t trust OTHER folks with riches that are their own but who blindly trust government with heaping piles of other people’s money and endless power over everyone.

If the good Californians move to Texas to escape the liberal lunacy you should be fine. If the bad ones start infesting it’ll be a whole ‘nother story.

I’m still holding out hope that I’ll be able to put California in my rear view mirror within the next 4 or 5 years and relocate to a simpler life in the South Pacific. Be a coconut farmer and grow vegetables and raise livestock. Swim in the clear warm waters.

California could easily be split into thirds: North,Central and South. I think it would be possible to have two out of three produce four GOP Senators. Maybe that is wishful but I do know Conservatism is not dead and a great many are fed up with Sacramento and Southern California idiocy.

They (Californians) simply ruined Colorado!

From the 60's through the 80's at least some Colorado towns were liveable.

Now, they're unfit to live in and enjoy family life, thanks to Californians bailing out and settling in smaller communities. They bring their liberal ideas and voting habits to once nice, conservative communities.

Vagrants, potheads, panhandlers and homeless on every corner, park and library.

Just don’t try to turn Texas into California.

That knee-deep response gets me every time. As if conservative refugees from blue states would ever think of doing that.
