Personally, I see the ‘mainstream’ climate research ‘community’ to be filled with arrogant marginally talented hacks who enjoy fine wine and great dinners during various ‘academic’ meetings - largely financed by taxpayer money, all the while promoting hypotheses supported by cherry-picked data that promote their own careers and sustains their lifestyles.
