Its called "Teach the Controversy"

It's true. But there's also a disinformation campaign that many people here fall for. For example there are often posts about how volcanoes contribute to climate, there is one on this thread, although it is vague and useless.

The simple fact is that aside from cooling from major eruptions, volcanoes to not contribute to climate. They certainly are not a factor in the rise of CO2, that rise is manmade, and not a legitimate scientific controversy.

So yes, there is controversy, often injected by people who want other people to look stupid. But on the other hand, there is substantial scientific evidence that the US was warmer in the 1930's. The keepers of GAST say it was cooler, but that is due to their adjustments. At the very least it is unresolved and a legitimate case of scientific controversy.

Just keep denying that volcanic eruptions contribute thousands (millions?) of times more enormous quantities of CO2 into the world climate engine...
