Dan Gainor, vice president of Business and Culture at the Media Research Center, joined Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Monday to discuss press reaction to Anthony Scaramucci, the New York Times continued blaming of sexism for Hillary Clintons election loss, and other current media topics.
Gainor said, Its hard to take the New York Times seriously. The only more shrill and ridiculous print outlet in the country anymore is the Washington Post.
Gainor continued, Every week, you will look and see something crazy. Last week in the New York Times was one of their latest op-ed arguments against free speech, arguing that, scientifically, you should be able to say certain speech is not allowed on college campuses.
In speaking of the Times future, Gainor stated, I think that they feel that this is survival, especially when youve got Carlos Slim, Mexican billionaire, throwing his money at the New York Times, continuing to keep it afloat. Theres always been a rich person component to a lot of the media in this country.
All throughout our history, its a vanity press, said Gainor. So the New York Times will continue to survive at least as that, whether its Bezos or Buffett or somebody buys it, if this doesnt work in this version.

Operation Mockingbird never really went away
WHY DO WE LET THEM AND CNNBCPSPBSMCNBS DECIDE WHAT WE TALK ABOUT EVERY DAY?
OR WHAT CONGRESS DOES????
The reason billionaires invest in these failed ventures is because it gives them a loss leader that they can write off against their profits.
Good description.
And it is all click bait.
Washington Post Russia stories are click bait. No substance but intrigue a certain demographic of readers.
And, Veritas recorded CNN management saying as such with regard to their programming - that it is for ratings.
New York Times owned by a Mexican billionaire who profits from illegal immigration, what could possibly go wrong?
For example, the owner of the Washington Post is Amazon.com owner Jeffery Bezos.
Bezos Amazon.com subsidiary was given a huge, sweetheart single source, no bid contract for technical services by the Obama Admin
Cash is fungible and this government money more than covers the commercial losses the Washington Post incurs by being the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party .
Same for the NY TImes. It's Billionaire owner gets huge, unaccountable and fraud ridden government contracts for Obama Phones that allows it shill for the Democrat with impunity and immunity from the economic fallout of its fake and polarizing propaganda
I call Nytimes a Mexican billionaire-owned propaganda machine and washingtonpost an oligarch-owned tabloid.
There are better ways to lose money. I think they do it because that is one of their vehicles for creating the global slave state.
“Vanity Press” is an all too gentle term.
Propaganda Organ is more reflective of reality.
Just ‘Vanity Press’?
They are very useful to line the bottom of bird cages.
Bingo.
