I guess that falls in with the warning signs at the end of a block

"High crime area. Muggings and assaults way of life" Don't call us if you get 'caught' in this area. Local PD..

Like I used to comment that Blacks actually had MORE rights than 'us' in as much if a White is 'molested' in a 'bad part of town', the general consensus is that

'He/she/it should have known better than to be in that part of town'.

OTOH

If a Black is accosted in a neighborhood the feeling is he has a 'right' to be there, not

'he shouldn't have been crossing the lawns and checking out mailboxes in a neighborhood that is know to have many carry permits'.

My guess was his attention was directed towards the woman approaching the squad. Thus the shooter would be facing the back of his head.

“Why are statists so easily offended when the actions of some of them are called into question?”

That’s the paradox.

The people who want the state to control everything are against it when someone they don’t like is in charge.

Or they even rail against their own fellow liberals and leftists for things done under their watch - but act as if it is someone else in charge.

e.g. Baltimore, Detroit, Flynt, any major city with problems.

Sgt. Finnegan, you really need to realize that the Minneapolis Police have a big problem here, not just by hiring Somalis, but by covering up for them when they screw up. It’s not an indictment of all cops, but it is an indictment of someone’s ability to be fair when they always support a cop no matter what.

Not sure if you are being coy but I was referring to you.

The police are the pointy end of the statist’s spear. They are the first tool in the monopolized use of force.

It is ALWAYS proper to second guess their actions. I am not saying police are bad people or anything like that. When we are talking about a profession with the legal right to commit violence upon others, it is entirely appropriate to be extremely vigilant over how they operate.

If posting signs as a way of publicly keeping them in check hurts people’s feelings, too bad.

Weird response. Weird how this is now a liberal site with so many people having liberal sensibilities.

Hey, I know, let's get JimRob's opinion on whether this a liberal site or not.

Very professional job citizen! Metal sign attached with U-bolts to the pole...probably should have been yellow instead of orange, but orange has more impact.

There was a poster on FR several years ago whose style of posting reminds me very much of one on this thread. I actually can’t remember his FR name but he was eventually banned.

He made just enough conservative posts that I wasn’t sure for a while but eventually it was obvious that he was a turd in the punch bowl.

You differ little from BLM or the hard left in statements like, “The police are the pointy end of the statist’s spear.”

They would call it the state white supremacist capitalist system.

But overall, your other comments are reasonable and I generally share your views.

"Weird how this is now a liberal site with so many people having liberal sensibilities."

Your words are very clear.

Go ahead, deny what you wrote. Spin it like a liberal pundit. I expect nothing less.

TNMOUTH. I was instrumental in identifying and exposing him. He was banned, finally.

Okay, so what’s the excuse for murdering a man who had a carry permit and what’s the excuse for murdering a woman in her pajamas?

Because it wasn’t ‘art’.

Nonsense!

It was performance art!

Except that in this case the local police have demonstrated it to be accurate and warranted.

Of course, that is exactly what he is. He was rushed through the process and put on the force to pacify all the Somali Muslims in Minneapolis-St. Paul. It’s a crock.
