“Weird how this is now a liberal site with so many people having liberal sensibilities.”

Explain to me what’s “liberal” about objecting to law abiding US citizens being shot and killed by police who arbitrarily object to the lawful exercise of the Second Amendment and who can unexpectedlty shoot and kill people?

I’m an ardent conservative and a supporter of the Constitution and I won’t surrender my rights or the rights of my family to someone just because they have a badge.

I have three things I expect from the police:

1. Defend and protect the Constitution you swore to defend and protect.
2. Obey the laws you enforce.
3. Don’t be a dick.

Anyone who can’t do these three simple things should not be a police officer.

Exactly. A few years ago I observed a minor fender-bender and telephoned the police.
I advised we needed tow trucks and a squad car. There were no injuries.
I gave my full name, age, and what I was wearing so officers could spot us easier.

I approached officer as he drove up. He lept from his cruiser and yelled, "...GET THE F*KC BACK IN YOUR CAR!..."
Say what? I am the innocent bystander who called this in and stayed as a courtesy. The two other motorists were peacefully exchanging insurance info.
Some police seriously have a few screws loose and need to be examined for fitness. This nutcase Somali officer is a case in point.
