His “partner” was apparently involved in giving Mad Mo’ remedial field training. It was an excercise in cross vehile shooting.
I wonder how the “partner”’s hearing is doing.

Probably didn’t see it, he was probably facing out his window looking at the woman so the gun was not in his vision, and he’s probably lost most of the hearing in that ear.

My guess was his attention was directed towards the woman approaching the squad. Thus the shooter would be facing the back of his head.
