I went to Chipitole once. Food, at least to me, was nothing special and overpriced. So, no thanks. I’ll stick to McDonald’s and Burger King, the BEST PLACES TO EAT in the country (other than In-and-Out, if in their coverage area).

the BEST PLACES TO EAT in the country

You obviously meant "I’ll stick to McDonald’s and Burger King, the BEST FAST FOOD PLACES TO EAT in the country".

Agreed. I’ve never seen what the fuss is all about; I find the food mediocre. I live in California and I agree that In N’ Out is the bomb. However, I was recently traveling in the east, and Shake Shack is better. The burger my son had was just as good. I had a Chicago Dog for the first time, and it was just incredible. I like Shake Shack’s much broader menu.

In a pinch, they're passable, but I would not call them anywhere near "the best places to eat in the country."

Have you ever tried Chick-Fil-A? Much better chicken than McD's or BK. Five Guy's burgers are light years beyond anything that McD's or BK make. IMHO.

Happens to McDonalds too:

With enough restaurants and enough time EVERYPLACE is going to make customers sick. And the more fresh ingredients you work with the higher the chances (fact is freezing stuff and boiling it in fat are great ways to kill contaminants).
