I have previously said and will say it again, the government should stay the hell out of health care altogether. They have a history of screwing up everything they touch.
The Feds have been in healthcare since 1965. It’s called Medicare...and it includes Medicaid.
Since the Hill-Burton Act in 1948, government (the taxpayer) has been the biggest driver of hospital, nursing, and physician services.
That’s 69 years. They aren’t getting out.
