He can’t. Johnson is cherry-picking here. In the clip at the link, he talks about Australian immigrants to the UK, about how great they are. And that’s probably true.
But the Australians aren’t the ones who are causing all the trouble. Johnson is using the old technique of deflection: Let’s not talk about the Muslim jihadi immigrants. Let’s talk about those great Aussie immigrants instead.

That is not an exaggeration. There are strong parallels between now and the late 1920’s. Back then the Nazis were rising to power. And they told everyone exactly what they believed in, and exactly what they was planning to do.
But except for a few visionaries like Churchill, all that was ignored. Same today. Just substitute “radical Islam” for “the Nazis”.
We should take his advice to heart that migration is good for the country and urge our immigrants to keep migrating, to Mexico and Canada. It’s the neighborly thing to do. Those countries could use the help.
