McMaster Ousts Trump Adviser Who Tried to Fire Obama Holdovers
Frontpage Mag ^ | 7-27-17 | Daniel Greenfield

Posted on 07/28/2017 9:12:52 PM PDT by sheikdetailfeather

Derek Harvey was the key figure when it came to the Middle East. He was against the Iran Deal and the funding of Palestinian Authority terror. He called out Islamic Jihad. He tried to force out the Obama holdovers running our foreign policy.

And now he's gone.

McMaster's purge at the NSC continues. Flynn's people get forced out and replaced with establishment zombies. The Obama holdovers continue to run foreign policy. The swamp is now in full control of the NSC.

This one is a really big win for McMaster. And a great loss for America. It will set back our ability to fight Islamic terrorism. Iran, Al Qaeda and the Palestinian Authority are celebrating today.

President Trump can reverse his decision. Just as he overruled McMaster's bid to replace Ezra Watnick-Cohen, the guy who outed the Obama spying on Trump's people, with the woman who drafted the Benghazi talking points. Not to mention Mattis' plan to bring in Hillary's Secretary of Defense and the Muslim Broptherhood's favorite woman.

But Mattis and McMaster have forced out Derek Harvey. And it's up to President Trump to act. Or to let the McMaster-Mattis swamp control his foreign policy. And make sure it's Jeb Bush's foreign policy.

Derek Harvey, a top Middle East adviser to President Donald Trump, has been fired from his position at the National Security Council, effective today...

Two sources tell TWS that Harvey’s departure is not a direct result of the internecine staff fighting, but he was viewed by some top Trump aides as too close to Steve Bannon

McCain was a HUGE fan of choosing McMaster.

Said it then, will say it again. That’s all you need to know about the man.

Get rid of McMaster. Now.

I have lived through a lot of presidents and have never seen anything like this. Doesn’t instill a lot of confidence.

Same here. I first voted for Nixon, volunteered on both Reagan campaigns.

Remember Gen. Flynn was the first choice but because of the Russian hysteria drummed up by the dhimmis he had to resign...

There are tens of thousands of qualified people. It is a sign of a turnaround artist to turnover ad nauseam until the right mix is found. The President is a turnaround master.

One of the problems was pinpointed by Cernovich (and I am not a fan or detractor of Cernovich). That problem is Johnny DeStefano. DeStefano is head of personnel and policy in the White House. He filters out which applicants and candidates make it up the chain of command for hiring consideration.

https://medium.com/@Cernovich/may-massacre-johnny-destefano-to-purge-trump-supporters-on-may-22nd-2c00b57e418c

Why hasn’t the President gotten rid of DeStefano? Well, he’s getting ready to via Scaramucchi.

To understand why the President has been ‘slow’ is to understand Priebus. Priebus was in charge of the President’s schedule and appointments. If the subject of DeStefano’s deficiencies came up, Priebus would say it was not a priority; there were far more important things to address.

Enter Scaramucci. Priebus is gone and others will follow.

DeStefano will be gone soon. And the tens of thousands of qualified persons who can truly help the President drain the sewer will be reviewed.

I told a friend that it would take two years to clean house and get control of the executive branch. I based that on the path the Reagan Administration had to suffer from 1981 to 1983.

We’re not even seven months into this administration; Jan 20 to July 29 = 190 Days.

But I am revising my two-year estimate to less than a year and a half because President Trump moves at a faster more aggressive pace.

When will Trump dump this McMaster? And it looks like maybe he should get back Harvey.

But it looks like we have a “Forest-For-The-Trees” problem here. I mean why do we even have the National Security Council (NSC) and a National Security Advisor? We already have a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) which is another layer over the FBI and the CIA and we also have the hideous National Security Agency.

So to protect this mostly unconstitutional federal government we have

- the National Security Council (NSC) and a National Security Advisor

- the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), a useless layer over the FBI and the CIA

- the hideous National Security Agency

How much freaking “security” does this mostly unconstitutional and paranoid federal government need? It’s beginning to look like a Nazi regime.

The constitutional job of the federal government is to protect the freedom of American citizens which is constitutionally assigned basically to the military and the CIA for external threats, and the FBI and the courts for internal wrongdoing. But instead, this bloated, mostly unconstitutional federal government is now structured to protect itself by the control and coercion of American citizens.

ENOUGH!!!! DRAIN THIS DEEP STATE SWAMP OF THESE DEPARTMENTS THAT REPRESENT THE UNCONSTITUTIONAL PORTION OF THE $4 TRILLION FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

>>It is the ongoing subversion of America, the left over useful idiots of the latest effort to bring down America. They (Globalists) thought they had us bagged this time with the insertion of Obozo, with planned followup by Hitlery. Now, they are really, really pissed that a half century overthrow effort has been trashed. There are no words to describe their anger.

What he said.

President Trump is really, really smart, smarter than most people realize. My research from 2015 show he is indeed a master of managing events and people. Despite his outward blue collar expressions which may lead some to believe he is not well-educated, he is, in fact, both well-educated and blue collar.

So there are two sides that people see to Trump. Those that are able to see his smart ‘shrewd’ side are fewer in number than those that see his blue collar side.

Here’s what was very smart but missed by practically everybody. Donald J. Trump INSISTED that his private security team that has been with him practically forever and who are like family to him, he INSISTED they remain by his side as President even ahead of the Secret Service.

And he fired the head of the Secret Service.

Understand that Donald Trump is a voracious reader and a great consumer of history. He knew before taking office that what he was going to do would bring out killers aiming for him. He knew it, he expected it in advance. So he protected himself by keeping his personal private security team as his true inner circle.

So you have nothing to worry about. He’s safe, he’s winning, and he will win.

Just spread the word about DeStefano and inform that the ongoing shakeup is expected and is healthy.

I’ve been here almost 20 years, and yes, there are times when FR’s performance is challenging. But I’m sure it’s challenging to the owners as well. Anybody who can’t deal with the ups and downs of this site without getting bent out of shape, or providing IT advice when it wasn’t asked for, should either take a chill pill, find another site to go to, or start their own forum.

Much more than bureaucratic excess. It is a threat to the freedom and well-being of the American People from the tyranny of the mostly unconstitutional federal government.
