WASHINGTON For months, conservative news outlets have built a case against Imran Awan, his wife, two brothers and a friend, piece by piece.
To hear some commentators tell it, with the help of his family and a cushy job on Capitol Hill, Mr. Awan, a Pakistani-American, had managed to steal computer hardware, congressional data and even just maybe a trove of internal Democratic National Committee emails that eventually surfaced last summer on WikiLeaks. It helped that the story seems to involve, if only tangentially, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Florida congresswoman who is the former chairwoman of the committee and an ally of Hillary Clintons.
The Daily Caller, with almost two dozen articles on the family, has led the pack in reporting the story, packaging new details that have dribbled out of the investigation into a growing web of material, even as few in the mainstream news media paid attention.

George was laughing with Jason about the description of being a right wing .....conspirator.
Webb was actually a Bernie supporter.
Yes, two mistakes. George deserves 99.9% of the credit, and George is a Bernie Sanders supporter.
"Well, we have to cover it now, but let's downplay it as much as we can. One story, then bury it."
Amazing “skeptic act” by the NYT......Debbie Dementocrat could not possibly be aiding and abetting the nefarious Pakis. She’s such a good Dumbocrat (who screwed Berne Sanders outta the nom).
Paki schemes include running roughshod over the US govt, looting and pillaging, endangering the safety and security of Americans. All of it financed by Debbie DEMento using our tax dollars.
Then again, the tolerant and compassionate NYT actually believes the Clinton Foundation roams the world to “do good.” The Clintons accidentally accumulated forty billion dollars in the process of “doing good.”
ROTFLOL. The NYT is a huge joke.
The NYTimes covers for an infiltrator and demonizes those who try to keep America safe.
And still ignored by Boehner (slithering off to play with Obama in the White House) and his replacement lying Ryan did nothing about Debbie's Paki IT team. Our nation has been infiltrated by Debbie's Paki IT team, and taxpayers paid them to do it. Bernie is small fry, given the access Debbie gave to her Paki IT team.
Thanks for putting up the link.
The more you examine the Paki/infiltration, the more you sense that D/W/S did not act alone on this.......but that fact does not exonerate her treasonous activity.
This gal is super-ambitious. D/W/S actually has a spreadsheet of “people who owe her”....people she did favors for.
D/W/S was especially keen on getting into the good graces of the half-caste Royal Idiot b/c it suited her crass self-serving ambitions.
Strangely enough, on the surface it seemed like the half/caste kept shrugging her off.....as she pursued him w/ a vengeance.
Distilling the info, one concludes, D/W/S was a willing “doer of tasks,” but the Royal Idiot had to give the appearance that they were not connected.
The Pakis could not have (A) gotten security clearance, (B) gargantuan salaries, and, (C) gotten visas .....without some pretty high-level help.
The grotesque salaries are also problematic.....could be one way D/W/S and Hill Democrats got paid off for their silence........via campaign contributions, kickbacks, wire-transfers, and the like.
Imran had plenty of time and money to pursue his private money-making interests:
<><> he owned 12-or so houses....
<><> he rented out some of these homes....
<><> he ran a car dealership....
<><> he ran an export company to Pakistan
<><> he had a computer systems sales company (selling stolen govt gear?)
<><> and a Blackberry cell phone repair operation.
Imran's thirst for money was unquenchable. He falsified apps to get several home loans from the Congressional Credit Union. He got the credit union to wire-transfer monies abroad.
QUESTION: Did Debbie DEMento have to sign off on her employee's mega-dollar transactions at the Congressional Credit Union?
**********************EXCERPT************
By Thursday morning, President Trump gave an added boost to the intrigue, reposting a tweet from the conservative news site Townhall suggesting a cover-up by TV networks.
It was in Pakistan that the state department spent 70 grand running ads apologizing for the so called Benghazi ‘video’ shaming Islam... That so called filmmaker first claimed he was a Jew to entice that Florida Koran burning minister to participate in his film making, and a US general needed to call directly ... there is a whole lot yet to be discovered about Debbie's Paki IT team.
I fully expect to learn that lawyer, minister Khan from Pakistan is somehow connected to Debbie's spy ring.
Lots of unanswered questions about how they got here,...
That was in the middle of the Iraq War and the Kerry campaign--interesting. I seem to remember some Pakistan-related espionage issues from that time related to nuclear weapons proliferation.
My exposure to Pakistanis leads me to be glad that they’re typically the very definition of loose cannon, and greedy as all get out. If they weren’t so busy shooting themselves in the foot in these regards they’d be dangerous, and many still are despite all this. They’re no friends of ours but are quite happy to maintain that impression, so long as the money flows.
Where was bin ladin hiding out in 2004?
