But if they say it a thousand times, many will believe it is true......that’s how the Left works. Too many people want to be part of the majority....it makes them feel important and like they belong. We have way too many sheep in this country and not nearly enough shepherds.

It’s called virtue signalling. They answer the question the way they think the mob wants them to answer it, so they can tell people how they answered it in hopes that the mob accepts them.
When I was a kid, bowing to peer pressure was a sign of character weakness. Today, it is a virtue.
