GOP members of Congress earn 'spineless jellyfish' label

Paul Nehlen, a Wisconsin businessman who challenged Speaker of the House Paul Ryan for his congressional seat last year, and is challenging again in 2018, says he is disgusted with the conduct of the Republican Congress.

“With a few exceptions, we have a Congress full of spineless jellyfish, unwilling to fulfill their oath of office to protect and defend this country from enemies foreign and domestic,” he told WND. “Illegal aliens, whether from visa overstays or illegal border crossers, cannot be effectively deported without a means to keep them out of the country. The border wall proposed by candidate, now President, Trump would stretch from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean. If members of Congress are unwilling to vote to protect American citizens, they must be removed from office.

Uh, I'm thinkin' somebody is a little late to the party on making this call. Most FReepers have been on board with this and calling them 'nutless wonders' for a long time. Still, nice to see someone in the underground alt-right realm mention it. (As if WND is an underground site or something.) ;-)

How well did Nehlen do against Ryan the last time? Sometimes it takes a couple of runs to get the name recognition. And also to convince voters it’s time for a change.

They’re not spineless. That’s just the excuse they want the sheeple to focus on. This is all by design...

“GOP members of Congress earn ‘spineless jellyfish’ label”

We could save a lot of FR bandwith and have a much smaller list with the title:

GOP members of Congress that DON’T earn ‘spineless jellyfish’ label

Why does everyone keep lumping the majority into the traitorous ones that now constitute a minority in the GOP, albeit a minority that working together with the dims is able to halt, obstruct or water down what the GOP majority is trying to do?

Yes, Ryan and McConnell ARE part of the problem, but even so, when it comes down to the wire it is a minority of GOP members who aided by the Dims are preventing the GOP party majority from acting.

Because the majority go along it is a game...If you are not up til 2022 like Lisa you vote no..if Billy Bob is up in 2018 he votes yes..

We have been fools for the GOP since the First George Bush..

Ronald Reagan’s biggest mistake..he started draining the swamp in 1980..now the swamp covers the whole country..

Congress Crittetrs are in it for themselves and not for the Country. Why don’t they subject themselves to the very laws that they pass on Americans. I am surprised that DJT has never mentioned it.

I would not label them all spineless. Just those who did not vote as they promised. When you paint with a broad brush you give the real culprits cover.

“Just those who did not vote as they promised.”

That’s fine but it is the responsibility of all the GOP to accomplish a goal. And if they aren’t then why aren’t the ones that did not hammering those that didn’t. That makes them just as guilty as if it didn’t get passed, and nothing is being said to single out those that ruined it like McCain, Collins, or Murkowski. Instead, they hero worship McCain and say nothing about the other two. So those that shut up are just as much to blame as the three that gave the libs a 51/49 victory over one of the major problems we have. They don’t even point fingers and they can say they voted for it. So they aren’t responsible. Nobody ever seems to be.
