President Trump has opted to remove Anthony Scaramucci as White House communications director, as first reported by The New York Times.

Scaramucci's removal comes 10 days after his appointment to the role, a move which caused significant shakeups in Trump's White House.

The New York Times reported Monday that new White House chief of staff John Kelly requested Scaramucci's ouster, three people close to the decision told the newspaper.

Kelly reportedly made clear to White House staff members that he will be in charge there following Trump's announcement he would be chief of staff last Friday.

The Times reported that it is not clear whether Scaramucci will remain at the White House in another position or if he will leave Trump's administration entirely.

Some Twitter users on Monday voiced joy that Scaramucci, a former Wall Street financier, is already out of Trump’s White House.

I think General Kelly thought the mooch was too much of a loose cannon. He had his pluses and minuses.

“Here’s a possible explanation:...”

According to Occam’s Razor, the simplest explanation is usually the right one.

In this case the simplest is... Trump screwed up.

But when you screw up, the best thing is to fix it and move on.

At least the MSM will be able to take a break from the Russia stories.

Yep.

Kelly to West Wing: "Gird your loins."

Mooch to Kelly: "I report to the Big Guy."

Kelly to Mooch: "You can pack your girdle...you're outta here."

Trump needs to explain why. With a good reason in hand, I can perhaps understand.

That’s an easy one.....He’s an apprentice.

I liked him too and I still like him.

10 days in action and he took out a major target.

If only the rest of the appointees were so efficient!

Nobody is irreplaceable. We are a nation of laws, not men.

I do find it more than a bit comically ironic that the guy who accused Trump’s other buddy of trying to perform oral sex on himself is now fired for screwing himself.

But that isn’t the main or sole criterion. Scaramicci is a very smart and talented guy. I never believed he was brought in to be communications director. I thought he was brought in to get rid of the leakers and then be put into something that would be more suited to his talents.

You bring in someone who scares the XXXX out of everyone, then when you bring in the new guy he doesn’t start out being the axeman.

Scaramucci resigned at the request of Pres. Trump as Gen’l Kelly wants to set up his own people as he sees necessary to run the show, which is his new job as Chief of Staff.

Scaramucci will show up in another position down the road as Pres. Trump sees the need for his services. Interim Scaramucci will be behind the scenes doing what he was doing before (advising) to assist Pres. Trump.

Disarray? No. They hired a smart tough guy. He got out of control so he’s out.

Disarray. Pshaw. Not many people have what it takes. That Sara huckabbee came out about a month ago in a pink dress beads and four o’clock PM all girls school carline hairdo with the Arkansas twang and she was it She’s smart and takes no s meant for the prez. She’s one of the few. But she’s in one of her first jobs. That director position needs experience and humility

There were things I liked about Mooch. I like a bull in that position. But the profanity in a conversation with a lefty Press idiot, thinking that it would be “off the record” is a warning sign that he is not smart enough to know the difference between being a brash hedge fund director and a representative to the President. I want a bull in that position, which Sean Spicer was not, but we need someone that knows the intracacies of representing the White House.

I think Kelly is just as much of a bull as Mooch, but more tactful.

Two Alph males. One wants direct access to the President and the other insists that no one goes to the President without approval from the COS. One has to go. It’s that simple.

Scaramucci make a critical error by calling a reporter and thinking anything he said would not be reported. He was hired to be the communications director and he would have or should have fired anyone on the staff that did what he did. I think it is fair to say that Scaramucci was unqualified for the job he was hired to do.

“Is there anything positive going on in the White House?
Are regulations being removed?
Are Federal agencies being cut?
Are taxes being cut?
Is Obamacare being eliminated?
Is the military being strengthened?
Who recommended these characters for WH positions?
This chaos is seriously disturbing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Grow up and stop the pearl clutching hysterics.

Stop being a little drama queen and recognize the many things Trump has accomplished. Become informed about the good things Trump is doing.

Trump is being sabotaged. The media keep pushing the chaos false narrative.

Sometimes people need to be let go and/or reassigned. The worst thing Trump can do is to be passive and allow the continual leaking and sabotage by the Washington insiders to continue.

Scaramucci will be fine. He is extremely wealthy and respected. He should not have called a reporter and talked about others in the administration. He should know better than to trust a liberal reporter.

He embarrassed the President and showed he was not ready for the Communications Director position.

The Republican Potty can’t get out of it’s own way at any level.

All politicians AND a million bureaucrats need to be purged and we need to start over.

If this is true, the timing make it almost a certainty that Kelly was the one behind it. Will these three people be removed for being leakers?

Kelly is an order of magnitude more of a bull than Mooch.

Mooch is a poodle compared to General Kelly.

This is war (against liberals, the media, islam, the Norks, etc., etc. etc.) and Kelly and Mattis are running the show.

Trump will start playing the role of proper CEO.
