I want to feel like everything leading up to this point was just setting the stage but I’ve been let down plenty of times before.
Ben Rhodes went so far as to brag to the Atlantic on the record about how he manipulated leaks the press into shaping press coverage of the administration’s handling of the Iran deal, a deal nakedly awful for advancing the interests of America. At least, as most of the readers of this forum know them. If he isn’t a central figure behind all the ‘anonymous former official’ leaks to the media, I’ll eat my hat.
