By any chance did you know Robbie Kaman?

http://www.tributes.com/obituary/show/Roberta-Kaman-88803522

I have some funny stories about Robbie bringing her bitches [in heat] to Germany for breeding.

I just viewed her obituary and I did not know her, but she sounds like she was a wonderful lady. I would love to hear some of the funny stories if you’d care to share!

Yours looks awesome! That’s what I’m looking for in a shepherd... not one shaped like a hyena-rabbit.

Your GS is much more appealing. Who is doing the judging in these Breeder Shows?

FReepmailing you the story.

Don’t want to be public about this side of Robbie. :)

“Morons. Who breeds a dog to be in pain?” Who crops a dog’s ears and tail?

who pumps silicon in their breast or botox to their lips?...

lets face it...the human race is pathetic...

Had German Shepherd with a touch of Husky that had none of these problems. Lived 18 years, no pain other than when he broke his ankle and his last day when he had a stroke.

Was a much better looking dog than these breeder GS’s. ...a GS breeder told me upon seeing my dog, “that is what a GS should look like!” He was bigger than a purebred , bigger everything; head, ears, paws, and taller longer legs. Short hair except belly, chest and hind quarters which was medium long hair. Blonde shoulders and upper chest. He talked like a Husky. Smart, loyal and great with kids. Gentle when stroked and deadly when provoked.

Best in Show huh?
That dog is nothing but a human created “F#CKIN FREAK”, that will die young and in pain because those subhuman sh!t stains in the background have a perverted view of what a healthy dog should look like.
I have words for subhumans like that that would get me permanently banned from FR.
Bunch of short d!cked freaks holding trophies that Dr. Mengele won for them.

She’s actually not bad. Compared to what’s been happening in the US for the last 40 years. And shocking that they’d “allow” so much white on the chest.

{{{shudder}}}

I grew up next to chain-neurotic junkyard GSD named Bozo that I would take over *that*.

:D

Your right dog is plainly American show type lines. :)

No, I said that wrong. Really it is the dog breed gods, whatever they are called, who run the show programs, who have decided to focus on looks over health. It does seem that they pay attention to superficial genetics over strength and health of body. I don’t blame the breeders.

German Shepherds are not huge dogs, though. No GS should really ever be more than 110 lbs lithely built. Average 80. Too many Euro types e.g. breed for bear heads, and large build (even if technically not overweight), when they should be light and agile.

Other poster is correct, it is the 3-point stance, and she actually is quite good. Look around and you’ll find the real butt-draggers, especially in the specialty rings.

The real blame IS the breeders. They control everything - they ARE the directors, the members, the handlers and judges. Try to find several owners/breeders who AREN’T heavily involved in the specialty clubs.

You are probably right, that two unhealthy specimens can bring some bad genes to the table. Or to the dog uterus.

However, there is a freshening of the lines that two divergent dog breeds mixed will bring. And one probably does want to keep some positive known characteristics, or have hope for them (cuteness, hunting ability, size, personality..).
