For folks willing to drive, there are still rooms at regular prices a couple of hours away from totality, at least in the NC, SC areas. That’s what we’re thinking, if we can get away.

Great song! Add to the list for your road trip to watch the eclipse. My list would add... Hotel California, Cats In the Cradle, ... So many, but I surely date myself, and likely drive my boys crazy.

That’s what we’re thinking, if we can get away.That's what I'm doing. Driving from Fort Worth to somewhere in Kansas. We'll stop about 2-3 hours out then get up early to head to a small town to watch.
