Many years ago I was invited to a Sunday get together with the ladies-who-lunch crowd in our major metropolitan area.
All were droning on about their various food sensitivities and allergies and one woman exclaimed: I cant understand the poor people from India! all they have to eat is rice. Their food allergies must be set off by having to eat the same rice all the time! I can’t imagine how they feel!
I said quietly: I imagine they are grateful they have food.
