Frank Gaffney: Trump Could Have Foreign Policy Accomplishments If He Fires McMaster
Breitbart ^ | August 2, 2017 | John Hayware

Posted on 08/02/2017 5:51:15 PM PDT by be-baw

ews Daily on Wednesday that North Korea’s dangerous regime has been “propped up, actually supported with technology and weapons” by the “aspiring great power” of communist China

Gaffney said China’s goal is to “not only humiliate the United States, but replace it on the world stage.”

(snip)

“That’s not the way they see it in Beijing,” he said. “They see this as a splendid distraction on the one hand and as a bit of leverage with which to euchre the United States – to distract it, for sure, but also ultimately to humiliate and facilitate its agenda of exercising dominion over the region and more broadly.”

“Unless and until we get that straight – and I think President Trump has begun to do that – we’re not going to get much done with respect to this North Korean problem,” he warned.

Gaffney said a successful Trump foreign policy “requires the support of his own government.”

(snip)

“It’s a very bad bit of business, but if it’s fixed – perhaps by personnel changes, I must say, notably the replacement of H.R. McMaster and perhaps others – this president could have a signal set of accomplishments in the foreign policy arena,” Gaffney recommended.

I would love to see Trump get rid of McMaster. However, getting rid of a second NSA would invite all sort of criticism, especially considering that the GOP Congress is populated with a majority of globalists.

“However, getting rid of a second NSA would invite all sort of criticism,.......”

Let the criticism begin. Keep track of the loudest of the noise makers, and know without a doubt who the enemy is.

Gaffney is a neocon globalist. I simply don’t trust his motives here.

So this week, the marching orders are “McMaster needs to go!”
Last week it was “the mooch needs to go!”
Week before that it was “Sessions needs to go!”

Why are people so easily manipulated?

By his works he shall be known...
Look at the facts of who McMaster is hiring and firing at NSC and you will see a lot about the man
Fwiw Mike Cernovitch is on fire tonight about this
Easy enough to see facts about who is being fired by McMaster- and why
Btw when was the last time Mac used the term “ radical islamist terror”
( crickets)

Cernovich went on a tear last night about MacMaster and Kushner. Lots of it got deleted, but not all.

McMaster does need to go. The Rats were thrilled when Trump picked him.
More and more we know why.

I was about to pose the question: Do we trust Gafney?

Can you give us a thumbnail on why we should? I trust Bannon and Breitbart news as much as anyone in this crazy business. But I know nothing about Gafney.

So why should we trust Gafney?

Now, here is another one. McMaster is by and large AVOIDING wars. We kicked ISIS’s butt huge, largely because of our minimalist strategy there.

Gaffney is a good guy but very, very much a neocon.

So really? You’re gonna take him over McMaster?

Go on Twitter and read Thomas Wictor’s threads on ISIS and Iraq. We have utterly flattened them, with no serious boots on the ground and almost no loss of life. That’s McMaster.

And you base this on what?

Blogs by people like Cernovich? Do you know him?

Do you know that we’ve utterly DESTROYED ISIS with almost no American losses whatsoever? That’s McMaster.

You obviously either don’t know or don’t care that McMaster just terminated three Bannon allies on the NSC staff, Cohen-Watnick, Harvey and Higgins. Gaffney is a Hell of a lot better than McMaster.

Gaffney is every bit the Neocon. He beat the war drums against Iran for years. He also goes on and on about EMP and a single nuke in the atmosphere shutting down North America. Maybe he’s right, IDK. But it’s little like L. Graham trying to fight everyone at once, IMO.

Cernovich jumped the shark a long time ago.

For expert middle east analysis, read Thomas Wictor. Guy is a genius, not a swelled head like Cern, and an expert on M.East military everything. He writes long threads of tweets, just click one of the numbered ones and the whole thing pops up in the right order. Since I’ve been reading him my understanding has grown tremendously and my freakout quotient gone way down.

You’ll be glad you did.
