Nope. The Democrats will keep it open via a pro forma session. It’s the same way McConnell prevented Merrick Garland from getting a recess appointment.

White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters said Thursday that West Wing staff needs to vacate the premises in August while workers are replacing the buildings HVAC system.

Bedmininster NJ is not in central New Jersey. It is in northern New Jersey, near many areas that voted for Trump. Its immediate neighbors include many horse farms. The country club has a pool which was visible during the golf tournament. I hope that Barron likes to play golf. Maybe he likes to ride horses. PDJT has a home on the property. We all saw it when he held interviews there before the inauguration. I saw it in person during the recent US Women’s Open golf tournament. It is a beautiful piece of land.

I know the area well! I live about ten miles away and drive past the back side of Trump National on I-78 regularly. I don't think of any part of this state as "central Jersey." There's a north Jersey and a south Jersey ... with I-195 roughly demarcating them.
Couple of interesting tidbits for you ... Trump National is built on the former estate of John DeLorean ... Woody Johnson (the owner of the Jets and nominee to be U.S. ambassador to Great Britain) lives right across the road ... and (surprisingly) Trump barely beat Clinton among Bedminster voters. In my experience there are a ton of fake GOPe conservatives out there.

The four counties north and west of Bedminster went solid red for Trump. Many of the small towns had lots of Trump-Pence signs during the campaign and have lots of American flags flying from their modest houses now. Those four counties are more sparsely populated than most of the rest of NJ. They hardly seem like NJ.

Right. The further north and west you go, the stronger Trump’s support was.

My IT security guy says there should be three different entities looking for unauthorized electronic gear. The first to conduct a sweep and plant some decoys. The second to sweep and see if they find the decoys and other items and the third to verify the work of the first two. All at separate times and separate .gov personnel supervising. Of course if the SS is in on it all bets are off.

Not surprised. D.C. in August is not the place to be. Too hot, hazy, and humid.

My daughter lives next to Dulles. She is unaccustomed to such heat, being from the mountains.
