Obama is out. But the purges continue.
At the NSC and across much of the foreign policy sector, Obama’s people are still in charge.
Wasn’t McMaster supposed to be wonderful? Sounds like a swamp master to me. Why isn’t the obama admin called out for their clear lack of transparency? Release the directive.
Time to purge McMaster.
I don't understand why Trump allows this, and is moving so slowly.
It is better to be short staffed and not do anything than to do the wrong things. My guess is we could eliminate half of federal workers - esp. managers - and nobody would notice anything.
Why does this man still have a job in the Trump administration? Someone should ask that question at today’s presser.
I think McMaster knows a whole lot more than we do.

Isn’t this the third pro-Trump person McMaster has let go of? Yet, the president still retains him. Either McMaster is two-faced or these three advisers were, or something else is at work here!
Why is Trump not firing these people?
It would also be easy to find out who is leaking as well. You tell people individual whatever you want kept secret and make different enough. You do this in writing and verbally. When it is reported in the news media it would be easy to trace back.
The washington post revealed telephone transcripts of private conversations from the president. Arrest the reporters and editors and the owner. That would stop the leaks and reveal who gave them the transcripts.
Why is Trump not firing these people?
I’m afraid Trump is just not very interested in diving in the weeds on foreign policy. He’s was a businessman and focused on domestic issues as much as possible.
All the leftists were very happy when Trump appointed McMaster.
Something to keep in mind.
We are still early and the bona-fides of Derek Harvey are still in question.
If he worked on the NSC under Obama regardless of any writings about the islam/left, he’s suspect. It’s one thing to write factually. Something else entirely to actually live it.
I’ll give Trump the mulligan on this one an let him bring in who he wants. I’m not necessarily a fan of McMaster, but he entitled to his own team.

I’m beginning to lose faith in Trump’s judgement on allowing many of Obama’s people to remain in place. Why in the HELL is he keeping McMaster around? He cannot be trusted and is getting rid of Trump loyalists and keeping former Obama employees.
Maybe Trump will wake up now that the mother of all leaks by the WaPo is publishing full transcripts of his conversations with Mexico & Australia. GET RID OF MCMASTER - HE’S A SWAMP TURD!
