The Hatred it would create between Us and Them would lead to terrible things. It would be the end of our Republic in any meaningful way.
The hatred is already there. We’ve all but stopped talking across the divide, in favor of shouting at one another. We stand one tiny step away from violence and bloodshed even as we speak. Impeachment would (will) be the trigger.
I won’t start it but I’ll do my damnedest to end it (and them).
Isn’t the end of our Republic the democrats’ main goal?
The requisite hatred is already there. It just takes a lit fuse.
