It doesn’t matter WHO you are, talking to a healthy, living, breathing human being whom you are close to one day, and then NEVER being able to talk to them again the next day is one aspect of humanity that nothing in our bodies and minds has prepared us for.
Of course there is solace in our faith, but it is still the MOST brutal of human experiences and there’s no short cut to getting over it.
Truth.
