“I would also suggest McCain/Graham and a few others bolt from their party too.”
I will never, never, be able to grasp such asinine thinking. If the Republicans lose the majority in the Senate, who do you think the democrats will seat as Supreme Court justices for the next forty years?
The republicans obviously, currently don’t have, in fact, a majority now do they?
If they bolt.....the next time they run...those who vote the straight Republican Party line will vote them out. The attempts at primarying some of these clowns like McCain and Linda Graham hasn’t worked.
This is a marathon. It will produce fruit in the future (no....not talking about Graham).
But the point is moot. Those two enjoy being a burr under the GOP saddle.
I don’t see any GOP to Democrat defections. Arlen Specter felt betrayed & abandoned by dems after he served their purpose
“Former Sen. Arlen Specter (Pa.) writes in a new book that President Obama ditched him in the 2010 election after he helped Obama win the biggest legislative victory of his term by passing healthcare reform.
Specter also claims that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) did not uphold his promise to grant him seniority accrued over 28 years of service in the Senate as a Republican.”

Well, it seems to be more and more the norm around here. So better get used to it.
