My best idea so far, as trivial as it may sound, is to proudly don my Trump t-shirt and my bright red MAGA sweatband a couple of times a week, go for a run through my community, and amiably smile and wave to my passing neighbors.

In dark blue California that's an open invitation to be physically assaulted.

Sadly, you are so right, so I completely understand why someone would refrain from such activity in California. My environment is not quite so dangerous so I’m willing to take the risk. I do get some nasty looks, though.
