They goofed, removing the unanticipated house guest. In FL there's a good chance the legless friend was removing mucho rats, mice, and other vermin. Good thing the snake wasn't injured in the removal and they're now looking for an adoptive Boa mommy or daddy.
I was going to say that Orkin is happy.
If it lived there for years, there must be a lot of other critters up there. Probably should have kept it!
Yeah, a boa is a nice feature, but does the house have granite countertops in the kitchen?
You’d have to have seven or eight snakes to make up for no granite countertops.
I’d leave it alone. It’s probably been keeping the attic critter free for years. Squirrels, rats, raccoons, possums..no problem

We have a bounty on these snakes for a good reason. Kill them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t live in a world where this happens!
I’d say he’s been a good tenant if they didn’t notice him for so many years.
If there were enough critters in my attic to feed a 6 ft. boa I think I’d want to clean the whole mess out, disinfect, paint, replace the insulation and seal the entry points.
The funny Floriduh part is the owner of the house said he’s heard the noises for years and just thought it was rats!
Florida Man at it again?
I pinged her...
Had to tent my house for dry wood termites. Never knew what died above the front porch but the smell of death lingered for over a week. Florida has plenty of critters that can live in attics.
The local herp dude had a baby Boa get loose in the family home, from which he moved away.
He returned 9 years later to discover the Boa had been living in the attic, all that time, hale and hearty, thriving on birds and rodents.
It was of an admirable size.
And all of that through vicious western MD winters with no heat source.
Amazing.
I get all excited if I see a baby Garter in the back yard.
Easy to please, I reckon.
Ceiling snake ate ceiling cat?
.
If they have a 6’ Boa, they also have lots of rats!
