James Damore, the Google engineer that was fired for writing a memo criticizing the companys diversity policies, said in a Thursday interview that Google employees publicly criticize people based on race and gender in meetings.
You can openly shame white people or all men [at Google], and we do this in our company-wide meetings, Damore said. Theres definitely a bias toward certain movements.
During the interview with the Daily Wires Ben Shapiro, Damore claimed that Google firing him for pushing harmful gender stereotypes only revealed the companys overblown emphasis on diversity, denying allegations that his memo had pushed harmful gender stereotypes.
Theyre putting their ideology before truth, Damore said. When one side is just trying to guilt you and call you names, and the other is actually using evidence and science, you know which one is actually seeking truth.
Damore also claimed diversity issues are often exaggerated at Google, citing an instance of a female employee who complained on message boards of not feeling included at the company. The woman had posted a question that had something to do with gender, Damore said. Her post received 300 votes, only 50 of which were down votes, but she nevertheless claimed that one in six people disagreeing with her was enough to make her not feel welcome.
Damore claimed Googles obsession with diversity is so pervasive that it may definitely be biasing who they do business with. He said he only used scientific research in his memo and never claimed that women were biologically worse than men at tech jobs.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai explained Damores firing in his own memo, claiming that Damore had pushed harmful gender stereotypes, but Damore claims the company is vilifying him. (RELATED: They Betrayed Me Google Engineer Who Wrote Diversity Memo Feels Punished) Despite the companys reaction, he said many of his former colleagues supported his memo.
Since Ive written it there have been many people that privately message me and say that yeah I support you and yeah this is a real problem, Damore said.
From the French Revolution to Stalin’s purges, Mao, Pol Pot, and now our campuses and companies, is proof that social justice knows no end. It goes on until it consumes itself.
I hate Google.
Or, until it is stopped. People may interpret that any way they like.
At Google we support diversity in all things, except thought and opinion.
Of course TDCC had their head so far up ObucketOshiite's a$$ all of their upper management's ears were dripping brown and walked like him.
The white guys should quit.
Since they probably do all the work the company would collapse
The Damore and Kaepernick situations have awkward parallels. Both attempted to start a “conversation” on diversity, and both failed miserably. Kaepernick lost his job because his approach (showing disrespect to our flag, our anthem, our country, and our ancestors who died defending America) offended normal people, and because he was an incompetent 2-14 loser. Damore lost his job because his approach (failing to use the only approved words on the topic and failing to agree 100% with Ctrl-Left orthodoxy) offended intolerant social justice warriors.
My conclusion? Anyone who tries to engage in a conversation on diversity is a fool. Besides the Left being exclusively fools, they are not capable of talking to those who disagree, not without being condescending or worse. And our side? Even if we wanted to, which we don’t, we are not capable of keeping up with their rapidly changing mandatory vocabulary and mandatory, non-negotiable positions for such discussions.
Nice thought but I would guess that a fairly large percentage of them agree with management.
Got to remember that most of these engineers graduated from the political indoctrination centers we euphemistically call colleges.
Guess what she can take a big bite of! It ain’t Guy Fieri!
Thanks, I’ve already tried a few of those.
” don’t be evil “. What company had that for a motto?
also politics, religion and etc. Do it on your own time, discreetly. I suspect he would have been fired if he posted his manifesto on FB.

The next step is Genocide of white males.
We’ve got most of the guns and military/hunting experience.
It would be a slaughter. White people take shit for a long time, but when we snap, continents burn.
The company is 70% male and 61% white. 76% of leadership roles are male, 70% are white.
My feeling is that this former engineer knows that what he is saying resonates in the wider economy, he wants to win a case against his employer, so he is trying to build a groundswell of support for himself so that he can get a good settlement.
In truth, demonizing women is a good way to keep them out, and keeps up demand for foreign workers.
I stopped using the googs, i like duckduckgo.com.

If they sense that you’re just not feeling it, watch out because their expectation, however unreasonable, is that you should. Any “empowerment” they assume is highly unqualified. If you do “feel the shame”, it’s your own damned fault. Just remember that they don’t know that they don’t know that they are the assholes in the equation.
It’s also the same in the Army. Our “mandatory training” classes always end up blaming whites, in general, and male heterosexuals, specifically.
