Exactly. “Wrongdoing” is whatever the people in power say it is.
The worst “solutions” (War on Poverty/Great Society, War on Drugs, etc.) all just turned into government jobs mills for liberals. Public education and the criminal justice system have become huge industries unto themselves - and nobody collecting a paycheck is in any rush to fix things in either area.
What really brought it to a head was that money ran out for both; the taxpayers have been bled dry.

I would have said “yes” to this until Obama had them shut down during the Obama “government shutdown” as a way to punish vets and conservatives. They fell right in line with his effort to maximize pain to taxpayers.
I always like the NPS growing up and in my early adult years. Those people do great work for not much pay. But it’s been corrupted and politicized like so much of government.
Not the meteorologists who work for it.
I’ve met some of them and nothing pushed them over the edge like mentioning global warming.
I was thinking of the NWS in terms of daily weather forecasting.
And the NPS was great when I was growing up.
Maybe Trump can get that back.
But in general, those are some of the government funded programs that I have the least trouble with.
The Dept of Education NEEDS to go. so does all government involvement in health care.

Stripper clips hold ammo so it can be lined up with a magazine and stripped off so the magazine can be loaded quickly. The 8-round Garand clips are not stripper clips.
