That ObamaCare coverage of 26 year-olds isn’t what it seems; it was a great way to encourage young people to stay in the insurance pools rather than drop out and just pay a penalty. The primary cause of the ObamaCare collapse is the lack of young suckers paying for older, sicker people - and extending coverage to 26 was a roundabout way to keep them in (and paying).

In others words, ... their PARENTS keep them insured (i.e. pay for their coverage) ... until they reach an age where they are more likely to pay for coverage on their own. Got it ...

Exactly; they remain in the pool (with either the parent(s) or their employer paying the premium), so the average age in the pool doesn’t rise so quickly. It basically keeps them as customers rather than have them opt out completely.
