More likely, the driver is from Ohio and had a reason for being in VA before today, perhaps a job or visiting relatives. When the thugs in the street started throwing rocks at his car, he lost his temper and mowed them down. Not wise, but not a big plot either. The Democrat media is hiding the fact that the group wanting to keep the statue of Gen Lee had a legal permit to gather when they were attacked. There is nothing illegal about defending yourself from a mob.
The “crowd” was in the street. Looks like from the vid they let a few cars through and then blocked the kamikaze guy.
