You think that video shows that the man charged with murder was in his car being chased by thugs on foot and gunned his car into the crowd in an attempt to escape?
I see people smashing his car with clubs after he crashed into the crowd right before he put his Challenger in reverse and gunned it out of there, but that’s after the fact.
I don’t see anyone up the street in the reverse shot that was chasing him in his car causing him to panic (or whatever your suspicion is) and crash into the crowd. I think it shows he clearly attacked the head of the counter-protestor march on that narrow street then reversed and gunned it out of there in his escape.
You should recognize that this man has been charged with second degree murder for a deliberate act. Let his lawyer claim he was under duress and in fear for his life — ultimately, a situation he travelled from out of state to put himself in as part of a violently provocative public demonstration. He’s not some innocent father of a family of tourists who unwittingly found his family van under attack by club-wielding hippies. This will hugely mitigate his chances at a successful defense, you might agree.
