That begs the question, why was he and the Nazi contingent even tolerated at the rally? At Tea party rallies I attended individuals carrying racist or Nazi signs were quickly corralled, as they were infiltrators and not our own.

The “white nationalist” (aka- Nazis) had the legal permit to demonstrate. ACLU and the leftists sued to get it cancelled or moved but the authorities said no. They also let Antifa and BLM show up THEN Ive heard it said the cops were ordered to stand down unless (until) the SHTF.
The fight was desired and basically encouraged. I think the whole thing went off as planned.
