On August 12, a driver drove his vehicle into a crowd of “anti-racist” protesters, killing one woman and injuring 19 other individuals. The suspect has been identified as James Alex Fields, Jr.
Department of Memes reported that police officers in Charlottesville believed the driver was not acting maliciously, suggesting he was scared by the protesters on every side of his vehicle and he did not know what to do.
I know it’s juvenile of me, but I keep thinking of that monkey strutting around but with faces of different liberals I know.

This man must be presumed innocent until a court of law and 12 of his peers decide otherwise.
Antifa and BlackLivesMatter have a history of violence wherever and whenever the meet.
The Unite the Right Crowd has no real history of violent protest, but they exist because people are pissed off at Antifa and BlackLivesMatter and want to form a group to oppose them.
Providing demonstration permits on the same day to two groups that oppose each other bitterly was a recipe for disaster from the git go.
You have angry and armed factions facing off with each other looking for a fight and the police have no right to intervene until the situation explodes.
This was a set up for a violent confrontation with inevitable tragic consequences.

The video I see shows the car driving (slow or fast) into a pack of people. That was plainly stupid.
However, it does, if his speeds were low and not looking to cause malicious harm, lend credence to the story that he was looking to get out of the area, got caught up in a crowd of ANTIFIA, they attacked the car, he panicked, and floored it, not knowing that he was headed into the back of another car.
He then rams the stationary auto, panicked again, then hit reverse and got out of there.
The fact that he didn’t run out of town, and seems to have surrendered to the cops, also backs up that story.
Truth doesn’t matter. The narrative is set. The left will hold nothing back now. This is not over.
With the info coming out, he’d walk if I was on his jury.
I,ve never seen such lousy videography as this one. Can’t these yahoos hold a camera still enough to record the event?

Another video shows the vehicle being hit with a bat well up the street but you can’t tell how fast he was going or what happened before.
Amazing thing to me is none of the vid people have even seen fit to put slo-mo on the clip and loop it.
It’s silly.
That’s a lot of baseball bats to suddenly appear out of nowhere... in the peaceful AntiFa crowd...
It's the engineer in me. Anyone in a crowd that blocks a street is really asking for trouble and has no business complaining when the sh!t hits the fan and a motorist uses the street the way it was designed to be used.
