Whether or not it was intentional the driver still killed someone so he’s going to have to have a really good lawyer to get him out of this if it’s even possible.
Yep someone did hit his car before he sped up....with a bat or flag...but the guy is certainly hitting his car with something to do damage as his stance clearly shows when you slow down the video. ....

I have not seen any video of that vehicle prior to it coming into the video field of view from several vantage points. So how would I know that?
Did you know some of the non-antifa people attending the protests were pinned in parking lots by violent mobs when they were attempting to drive away?
Which video are you looking at that shows his car being hit before he speeds up?
There is one that shows the car being hit on the left side but it’s clear in other video that he was already accelerating when that happens.
Unfortunately the drone was not directly over the point of impact area. It’s good video none the less.

It definitely looks like his car is hit on the left rear with a pole or a bat.
It’s entirely plausible that he was being attacked or threatened by antifa and that he responded by accelerating away from them. My point is just that I haven’t seen this shown in any of the videos I’ve seen so far.
Tell me, prior to seeing the vehicle in the video field of view, how do you know this attack was already on going?

I’m not endorsing the movement that tried to rally while under assault from the Antifa, but at the end the day their right to assemble under the First Amendment was violently attacked.
The ‘nationalists’ holding the rally were the victims of the initial violence and they have consistently been victimized by the Leftist Antifa.

Produce the video.
Yes, someone hits his car in that video but other video makes clear that he was already accelerating when that happened.
Listen to his tires chirp at the beginning. That’s when he punched it, and that was several seconds before the guy hit his car.
The video shows a dark red minivan plowing through the crowd, (and apparently running over some individuals). The later shot shows the minivan in the intersection, behind it is the white or silver car with the black top which appears to be the one that the Challenger crashed into, with damage to the rear.
