“Obviate” is a lovely word, being rare and specific. Most of us need to look it up before using it. Did you really mean “make unnecessary” ?

Should be easy to explain how government regulation of workplace speech leads to it’s regulation of public speech... from experience I think the big difficulty for people is the word ‘evidence’.
