Where was the press or even Democrats denouncing David Duke when he was a Democrat?
The media and Clintons and Obamas were happy to be seen honoring a dead Klansman who also recruited for the Klan and plenty of Democrats were happy to put Robert Sheets Byrd (D-KKK) name on things. If we are going to scratch names off of places and buildings because of ties to the Confederacy, Damned Robert Byrd’s name shouldn’t be on anything higher stature that a pile of sh!t.
True, and most want to forget that Robert E. Lee was a patriot who fought in the Mexican-American war as well.
Lee was no supporter of human slavery.
His wife and mother-in-law worked, during the civil war, to free slaves; and his wife and daughter ran a school for slaves at Arlington, which was illegal at that time in the south.
But we MUST destroy the legacy of Robert E. Lee in order to further demonize white people in particular.
Robert Byrd is, and will remain a hero of the left.
